Corona of Light Meditation

  1. Sit comfortably – on a chair or on the floor.
  2. Become aware of your breath entering and leaving your nostrils. Enjoy the stillness for a moment or two.
  3. Take your focus to your heart and feel your chest rising and falling with the in-breath and out-breath.
  4. Visualise a warm, golden light in your heart.
  5. With each in-breath, visualise the light gradually becoming stronger and brighter until it spreads out to fill the whole of your chest. Allow it to be extend beyond your body.
  6. See and feel yourself surrounded by a circle of light.
  7. Feel yourself connected through that light to everything around you. Light inside… light outside.
  8. Enjoy the sense of wellbeing that comes as the light enfolds and upholds you.
  9. AFFIRM: I am one with the light. I am always connected.
  10. When you feel ready, come slowly out of the meditation.
